This product is easy to install and use. The problem is placing the phone in front of the heater/air conditioner. My phone has already shown an overheating warning twice. Warm air (it's winter) flows through the ventilation opening. On an old car, I can't selectively shut off the airflow to the vent. So I need to close the opening where the magnetic base is attached. I must have received a defective product. First I got 2 metal plates, one with glue and one without. Revain's description lists both metal plates with adhesive. Secondly, the device going to the air outlet will move DOWN when you add the phone. Not sure about other customers but I get crap. If I can remove the metal plate from the phone it will come back! This magnetic phone holder has 4 small magnets inside. Phone cases like Rokform have 1 solid magnet. If you use the built-in magnet case. Your magnets will go haywire and make a bad connection.
