Works great: Hardware

We replaced old grips but didn't have all the necessary tools as we just moved. They were replaced by our boys contractors. So we don't know if it was the same simple or complex replacement. Considering the age of the house it probably wasn't easy as little of what was worked on turned out to be easy! However, I can say that they are much easier to live with! The older one looked nice but pinched me every time I tried to use it.

Pros
  • Stable test results
Cons
  • Almost never

does not stay closed in door hardware and locks

Although it locks when pushed against, the pin/notch recedes and opens the door. At first I thought it was because the strike plate was about a quarter inch, so I built it out of jam. No it still does. I bought 2 and they both do the same thing. What's the use of locking it if you only have to put 10 pounds of pressure on it for it to open. Not sure how or why; Maybe it's because the back of the pen is beveled and just as it slides forward, it slides back. anyway it's a waste of money

Pros
  • Very good quality
Cons
  • Some difficulties

Great Pulls: Door pulls

I chose these pulls for my home renovation and I am very pleased with their function and appearance. My wife loves the firm feeling when opening the door. Switching buttons becomes an easy task once you understand the secret. I connected the handles together, inserted a small tool and wiggled my right hand, gently pushing the handle up with my left hand. Make sure the privacy handle is unlocked before you begin, otherwise one of the handles will not release.

Pros
  • High marks for grip and durability from testers
Cons
  • Compatibility

There can be pain. on equipment

In general, the quality is very good and I like the "look". Good construction for the price. The only problem I had was having to swap out the levers to make the handle for the left door. Releasing the handle removal pin is difficult to solve and difficult to understand because you have to turn the locking mechanism to lock the pin. Then you have to turn the lock to make another handle. Introduced some confusion and frustration. Once you've done this a few times it will get a lot easier, but…

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • There are doubts

Quality levers at competitive prices

I have purchased private door handles with an oiled bronze finish and am very pleased with the appearance, ease of installation and quality of the product. This is a good product for the price and I would recommend it to anyone looking for new levers. Installation was easy and the only problem I had was flipping one of the levers. I bought several levers so I could turn another one. Also, installation was very easy and the levers feel solid. The oiled bronze looks great!

Pros
  • Inspire confidence
Cons
  • Low repairability

Sometimes lucky

Wanted to replace the front door handle with a private one. There's no particular urgency, but if I could find something pretty good and at a reasonable price, I would. I noticed that this "used" device is being offered at a very reasonable storage price. It was said that it might have minor scratches and imperfections. It looked like it had just been taken out of the box and sent back. The small hardware case was not even opened. It works great and even looks very nice. I think I'll consider…

Pros
  • Ideal for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Useless functions

Reliable product but not 100% perfect

I bought 6 satin nickel privacy screen levers - two things kept them from getting 5 stars: 1. I couldn't turn one of the handles no matter how hard I tried tried with the help tool. Luckily, I had another door that I already had a lever installed that didn't need to be flipped, so I just attached the one that didn't flip to that door instead. Some locks (not levers) feel a little dingy/rough/hard to turn. I hope it loosens up over time. They work, but don't feel elegant and premium. All in all,

Pros
  • good thing
Cons
  • functionality
