BUY INSTEAD OF THIS - INTEL

Seriously, I'm very happy I dared to touch the red team. People complain that this is more difficult due to memory issues and that you should be more strict with your RAM choices, but I can vote with confidence that this is just general talk coming from the general population, which is largely technically illiterate and not I don't know how to compare numbers. I can say I had no memory issues, I had no software or installation issues after the initial install, and THIS BITCH WORKS WITH WINDOWS…

If your system didn't post, read this!

So this is my first build of Ryzen (2700X) in my life and my first 8 core processor. No, thanks to Intel for not making their 8-core processors available to the mainstream at ridiculous prices. My previous system was a 4.7GHz i5 6600K, a great build just for gaming. Definitely after assembling the system and turning it on for the first time. The monitor showed nothing. The system had power and all the fancy LEDs and fans were on. So I changed the RAM from A1 B1 to A2 and B2. Then the system…

Photo editing PC platform with AMD 2700X processor

I just finished my new PC with AMD Ryzen 2700x processor for photo and video editing. I also looked at the Intel i7 8700k, which has slightly better single-core performance, while the 2700X beats it in multi-core performance. I mainly use Photoshop, Lightroom CC Classic, and a few other imaging software packages, and while they're not yet fully optimized for multi-core work, I'm better equipped for the future with the 2700X. I use this processor with the MSI x470 Gaming Plus motherboard and it…

Pros
  • Don't waste too much time

  • Almost everything is fine

Finally an AMD chip worth beating Intel!

The first AMD CPU I've installed in my system in a very long time has been using Intel exclusively for the last few system updates. I'm glad I made the switch. The first thing I noticed was that multitasking has become noticeably faster. I couldn't see any noticeable difference in games in terms of FPS. I transferred this process to the MSI x470 Carbon Pro motherboard. Put a Corsair H75 water cooling on it. Installed Ripjaws 3200 RAM and this system works great. When using HWiNFO64 to log…

The included cooler seems to have a good build quality

Bought as an upgrade from a Core i5 4690K. difference between day and night. I can't talk about overclocking as I'm waiting for an AM4 mount for my AIO cooler. The supplied cooler seems to have a good build quality. I don't care about the ubiquitous RGB lighting, but if you're a fan of it then this is a nice looking cooler for you. I consistently get smoother footage in Overwatch and FFXV. In Overwatch I went from 144Hz to 60-70Hz in intense fights. Since I got this new processor my frames…

I am very happy with my decision to upgrade

. I just upgraded 1700X to 2700X. Using the default clock at full load, the 2700X (4GHz) clock speeds are 500MHz faster than my 1700X (3.5GHz). And the speed of DDR4 memory has been increased from 2933 to 3200MHz with 4 x 8GB DDR4 modules. These two improvements made the upgrade worthwhile for me. Turn on Game Mode with the AMD Ryzen Master Utility and your CPU clock speeds will be dynamically boosted to 4.3GHz! Of course AMD has outdone themselves this time. I'm very happy with my decision to…
