Works well with resin

I use Sculptamold to make caves for reptile hideouts. I apply it to a hardware cloth, let it dry and then apply a coat of 10 minute resin. Once the resin has cured it is waterproof and much lighter than ceramic reptile skin caves.

Easy to work with but sets quickly

Works very well, doesn't dry out too much. It sets very quickly, so for a large project I suggest making small batches at a time. Once dry it's easy to sand, don't try to cut out the pieces as they will break off more than you'd like.

  • So far so good

Classic model and building material for diorama

sculpture shape can take on different properties depending on the addition of water. Dries fast and strong, easy to drill or nail. View 2 photos where Sculptamold used the shape and texture of the tree trunk and the rock face and rock. This material also adheres very well to both water and oil paint.
