🚽 American Standard 6045.101.002 Exposed Manual 0.75-Inch Top Spud 1.0 Gpf Urinal Flush Valve in Polished Chrome Review

Extremely quiet flush cleans the bowl completely and quickly. My husband loves "Mr. McFlushy" as we call him, he has made our lives better!

I had to disassemble it once because of a stuck valve. In fact, after rinsing, the device continued to fill with water and it began to flow onto the floor. Also, it doesn't do a full flush every time and you have to pull the lever twice each time. A little annoying, but it works.

Update: 1/19/2018 I got it working again by adjusting the pressure valve. I don't know why it stopped earlier if I didn't change the setting. First review: It stopped working after a few months and only released a small amount of water per flush. I called customer service and they sent a free replacement part. The second also only worked for a few months. Low quality.

This valve stopped working after about 9 months. It has probably been washed out less than 20 times. It still lets water through if you hold down the button, but doesn't get the big surge of water it's supposed to let through. I took everything apart and blew out the piston valve to make sure nothing was blocking the ports or seats. But it still won't work. I would give it 5 stars if it didn't feel like it would break if I rinsed it too hard. There needs to be a bracket holding it to the wall just below the flush lever as there isn't enough plumbing to keep it from bending while flushing. You won't believe how cheap the parts that hold it to the bowl are. The design of this should go back to the drawing board because the dish I hooked it up to is American Standard too!
