Limit Your Inrush Current with Ease

Based on my experience, this Ametherm thermistor works great as an inrush current limiter in my industrial electrical applications. It is well-made and reliable, making it a smart investment for anyone working in circuit protection products. The only downside is that it may be a little pricey compared to other options on the market, but it is worth it for the added quality and performance it provides. Overall, I highly recommend this product for anyone in the industrial and scientific field.

    Pros
    • Provides protection to circuit components from inrush currents.
    Cons
    • Requires additional space for installation.

If you are looking for this item and reading this review, your heating or air conditioning system may have stopped working. I also assume you figured out that your oven fan wasn't spinning and everything else looked fine. They also probably took off the oven fan and started taking things apart. If you're lucky you've removed the motor module that connects to the fan and found something that looks like the picture I've attached. Yes, all you have to do is desolder the exploded part and solder a…

Burnt out ICL SG348 in Trane XV80 (HVAC) Oven ECM

Although the heater stage is on, it is most likely a burned out (damaged) inrush current limiter ie NTC thermistor in the ECM (Electronic Control Module) The ECM is connected to the variable speed fan motor. I'm the first timer. To remove the ECM you remove the entire fan assembly which wasn't as strong as I thought it would be. Carefully remove the two wiring harness connectors that are attached to the ECM. Then remove the main circuit board and the door security switch. In my case, all I had…
