Non-slip, retractable step can be mounted on either side of the truck box, just behind the cab and forward of the rear wheel to provide easy access to the truck bed, tool box or 5th wheel hitch. Step quickly flips down or retracts with just the nudge of your foot and is engineered to support loads up to 300 pounds. High-strength aluminum alloy components and precision stainless-steel pivot pins for rock-solid stability.Do not apply silicon spray,waxes or protectants like Armour all to the stepping surfaces. Good product. on Parts

Mounted on both sides on F2019 F250. I didn't think the instructions were bad. When I got under the truck and checked it was pretty obvious how to install it. Two things. First, the two pieces of frame mount don't fit perfectly and I had to use a small clamp to line up the holes that the mounting block attaches to before tightening the two screws that hold it together. Secondly, the brake line on the driver's side gets in the way. Difficult to get a bushing on the nut that holds the bracket to…

The instructions are out of date, a 21mm head is not required.

Helpful, read the instructions first, they are easy , but it's important to put the right screws in the right holes the first time. The instructions I received clearly state that you need a 21mm and a 22mm socket. Following the instructions, I hand tightened both large screws (21 and 22mm). After it was leveled, I tightened the screw by 21 mm, there are no cubes. I couldn't install the outlet properly. I had no problem tightening the 22mm bolt. After a while I tried a 22mm head on a 21mm bolt…

Poor workmanship and design.

Very poor design. The assembly instructions are lame, there are no real photos, only black and white pictures. I just installed them on my 2019 F350 Supercrew because I needed them in my toolbox. Right off the bat, the very first part of the build didn't work. There are 2 mounts that only fit together in ONE WAY. The brackets, as you can see in the photo before the step was installed, are really crooked. This is what you get I had to use multiple shims and shims to keep the treads level…
