Perfect fit, works great

I bought this LED ring for my stereoscope, I use Bausch with zoom 0.7 to 3x for my PCB rework projects. I've seen reviews complaining about slow light at 10x, that may be true, for my application I mostly use 1x magnification (sometimes I choose 3x) and 100% is too bright.

Pros
  • 2.5" (62.5mm) inner and 3.64" (92.5mm) outer diameter
Cons
  • No power

Works perfectly. Easily adapts to a 12V gel cell

Works great. Easy adaptation to 12 V gel cells for mobile use. Remember that the center is positive, not negative, as indicated by the symbol. If that doesn't work, change the wires. Failsafe (13VDC or less). I use it with the macro setting on the camera, not on the scope. The screws are long enough to easily attach to the front of my lens for hands free use.

Pros
  • Power consumption: 110-240V, 50-60Hz, auto switching
Cons
  • Doubtful purchase for the elderly

Much better than AmScope's 80 LED ring and much cheaper. Some have complained that the ring is plastic and yes , it seems cheap but then it is cheap The screws that attach it to your scope go in the black ring that you see in the picture This ring must match your scope or you will have problems, this ring with led The screws cannot be overtightened as you will break the plastic they are screwed in. This black ring has a groove cut around the edge so all you have to do is tighten the ring to get

Pros
  • 1-7/8" (48mm diameter) ring adapter included
Cons
  • Miscellaneous Miscellaneous
