I bought this LED ring for my stereoscope, I use Bausch with zoom 0.7 to 3x for my PCB rework projects. I've seen reviews complaining about slow light at 10x, that may be true, for my application I mostly use 1x magnification (sometimes I choose 3x) and 100% is too bright.

Works great. Easy adaptation to 12 V gel cells for mobile use. Remember that the center is positive, not negative, as indicated by the symbol. If that doesn't work, change the wires.
