Professional stereo microscope with boom stand has long working distance to enable users to perform work or manipulate large items, including circuit boards and dental appliances. Binocular viewing head with pair of 10x super-widefield eyepieces, adjustable interpupillary distance, fixed 45-degree vertical inclination to reduce eye and neck strain, and 360-degree rotation capability to enable sharing. 0.7x-4.5x zoom objective provides continuous zoom magnification and longer focal length for inspecting large-scale specimens. Ambient lighting illuminates the specimen, eliminating the need for power or batteries. Double-arm boom stand has 20" arms and 17" pillar to enable users to position the microscope head on three axes (X, Y, and Z).

More Than Expected: Stereo Microscopes

This was pointed out by one of our engineers and it's way more than I expected! Arrived on time, near the end of the timeframe allotted. Setup was easy and the optical quality is fantastic. Worth the price and more!

Good enough for a hobby

Good enough for a hobby, wouldn't buy for work. Plastic body, good optics, lens thread doesn't match Meiji etc. Very heavy stand which is good. The scale was reversed from most scopes. Better than old B&L scopes, not as good as Leica or Meiji but much cheaper.

GREAT! Feel free to buy.

So far I'm totally blown away by this scope. The base is incredible; weighs a ton (no, not really, but it feels like it). The optics are surprisingly good; I use this for PCB mounting and couldn't be happier. I keep the adjustments "loose" so it can rock; I can move his nose.

Paid for itself almost immediately

I am buying for engineering work. The first real use we had for it was to identify a datasheet issue that would have taken half a day or more to identify without it. Considering the engineer's hourly rate, it was mostly worth it for the first use case. It also made it a lot easier for us to hand-solder some parts for prototyping. Definitely helping some of us with aging eyes!

No regret! Great product

What a great volume for the price. I'm impressed with the quality of the material and the look. Most products are made of steel. Some plastic. The base weighs like a thousand suns (a reference to Futurama). Seriously, it's quick to assemble and pretty durable. You want to place it on a good, solid surface. Avoid chipboard tables unless they have extremely (!) good support. I'm not joking. Incidentally, the assembly instructions were not used, but are quite understandable and readable, and notโ€ฆ

I am very glad that I finally bought this stereo microscope. Achieved all my goals.

I've wanted a good binocular microscope for a long time. I ended up buying it as a birthday present. I was very happy with the quality of the picture and the accessories I bought for it. Use a lot at work and it lives up to my expectations. Very satisfied. I would say that you may not need dual rail. We don't have them at work, most likely we don't need them. For a few bucks more and only planning on buying one for years to come, I'm very happy with my choice though. Excellent image, wide zoomโ€ฆ
