Good value for money in wiring harnesses

As all types of surge protectors are disposable I choose this one as after it does what it is supposed to do I have to buy another one (should have brought 2 ) Easy hookup and now I feel safer knowing my RV is protected

Pros
  • Durable finish
Cons
  • Upgrade availability

This is a surge protector and light tester

Plug it into the outlet before connecting the RV cord. There is an evaluation whether it is correct or not. When I connect an RV cord to it to use as a surge protector. I recommend wrapping a strap or bungee cord around the fork and stem to hold them in place as they're sticking out a little harder now.

  • Satisfied so far

Just a splash - it ends up in the trash

I give this one more stars just because I like the network analyzer but I only give it 1 star because the surge protector is only 1 time. If it turns off due to over-voltage, it's done. you throw it away The ad doesn't say that, but I spoke to the manufacturer, Camco, and they told me exactly that. 1 splash and you're done. Spend more for a reinstallable surge protector.

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Cable is shorter than others

Ideal for camping

This is a much needed adapter for your RV. I love that it tells you if it's safe to plug an outlet into one of those outlets. One day while hiking we stopped at a state park in Arkansas and the 30 amp outlet was not working properly. This leads to a short circuit. This adapter showed it. Luckily I had an adapter from 50 amp to 30 camp. I plugged it into a 50 amp adapter and that outlet worked great. Saved us and we had a great hike!

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • disappears

Effective functionality, small and works.

A few years ago I had a much larger RV power monitor and it didn't have a surge protector. This 30 amp works great and has surge protection. I'm not the type to do a lot of digital readings and stuff like that. I just want to plug it in, make sure the power is ok, and go. And takes up so little space in my small electrical box. A small quibble when I plug it into my regular Camco supplied power strip, the receiver's socket is oriented so that cable head blocks the small lights when it's plugged

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Band

MELTS! IT'S NOT JUST GARBAGE, IT'S DANGEROUS AND NEEDS TO BE CHECKED!

I previously rated this product 3 stars due to the lack of a surge protection label. We've just got back from a trip and the HULL MELTED (and had an electrical failure) so we're on the same star now (actually I'd put negative stars but I can't). As an electrical engineer, I know that every electrical system consists of several parts. So the question is, how do I know it's a bug spot and not something else? In this case, the answer is quite simple - this device was plugged into a utility pole at

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Expensive
