Enhanced Stability and Performance: Anchor 8974 Engine Mount Review

This part fits my 04 Civic and has had no problems so far. If installation was difficult I recommend a quality part, but installation takes about 10 minutes so quality doesn't matter. used or new it works.

The mounting holes did not match a 2000 Honda Odyssey, the holes had to be enlarged/repositioned with a set of burrs. Without special tools, it would be very difficult for an ordinary handyman.

Works the same as factory version and no hassles with replacement at all. The front mount also needed replacing, so it's better to buy both and do them at the same time. The hardest part was replacing the front bearing. A well-known tire dealer charged five hundred dollars to replace these two parts, which can be bought here for less than eighty dollars.

I own an auto repair shop, I want to be able to buy a quality fastener in this town, nearest importer is 40 miles in either direction, the only fasteners Home worn parts are here are anchors and they are junk. If you get one that doesn't fit and send it back for a job guarantee they will reject it every time and the reason is that we checked it and it matches our sample.
