Excellent quality marine cable!

Excellent quality marine wire. The single sheath makes fishing extremely easy. Tin plated threads offer fantastic corrosion resistance. Combine this with a strong solder joint and an adhesive lined heat shrink tube and you have a better and more durable connection than the ones 80% of people make.

Pros
  • The best in its niche
Cons
  • You could choose a newer model

Very good wire, but expensive

This is a high quality wire, ie real copper with a good filling. It's not cheap CCA stuff, it's the real deal, real size as it should be. I used most of the coiled cords in my RV to charge the battery from my truck. I also used it for my caravan. The wires are well tested but still very flexible and manoeuvrable. Buy a large roll - you will find more uses for it.

  • Decent performance

Look no further, this is a marine grade cable.

I purchased a 100ft 16-2 spool for my boat's secondary line and found it to be the highest quality original equipment and a pleasure to work with. The conductors are ok and solder or crimp well and the white casing looks classy, clean and impressive when you look into the wiring spaces. Overall very satisfied and the 100ft roll gave me good savings better than I could find anywhere else. Look no further.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design

Good cable for Marine or Van

This cable is used both inside and outside my caravan to connect some external speakers. The cable is well made and looks like a nm cable, although it should be smaller in diameter than residential wiring. Pulling the wire through my pendant worked very well as the wire's coating is smooth. I have about 33 feet of cable for each speaker and they sound great. The only thing I would like is for the dimensions to be printed on this wire, since I am drawing two sections I had to roughly determine…

Excellent general purpose RV power cable

The sheathing can be easily cut and removed with a utility knife. Inside is real tinned copper for good conductivity and corrosion resistance. The insulation is sufficiently strong, flexible and abrasion-resistant. The twist isn't too thin, which is good - you don't get loose strands when you insert them into screw terminals or crimp connectors. sunlight, oil and water. Time will tell how well it holds up, but this cable is UL listed to withstand it all.

Pros
  • High marks for grip and durability from testers

Sea cable is really excellent quality.

The round wire seems very well protected and I expect it to last a very long time in a marine environment. Due to the large reinforced fiber, the outside diameter is slightly larger than I expected, but that's normal. I know the cable will last much longer. My only minor complaint is that the wire spool only has thin paper sides, no plastic to hold the 100 foot cords on the spool. When I received the cable, the sides of the spool were folded back, allowing the spools of cable to detach from the

Quality Wire. Chain brake cable (14 gauge) with its own feed end. Runs a plastic electrical line underneath - rigid - then flexible to brake assemblies - just got back to Oregon from Arizona - brakes worked great. This is the best wire I've ever worked with. This is not Mickey Mouse - do it right!. no tears rest in peace

No, I wanted a broken coil!

Great wire, I use it on my dump trucks. Duplex or triplex is suitable for heavy work equipment. So far there have been no problems with corrosion from the tin coating. Not my first purchase of anchor wire. Yes, his marine wire and colors don't exactly match the original trailer wire, but I usually re-solder the entire trailer anyway. Most trailer cables are not sheathed, so I use anchor cables. It is less likely to cause a short circuit. But this package arrived via silent UPS mail. The box was

Great wire! in Electrical Engineering

I have used Ancor wire spools in the offshore marine environment for many years. The connections are very easy to solder. It's also very flexible, making it easy to install. I have NEVER had a problem with the cable, even years after installation. To those people who have complained that wire spools aren't marked on each foot. 1), which increases cable costs. 2) Either learn some cable installation tricks or hire a professional to do the work. 3) Buy a Sharpie and make your own footprints.
