I am sure this is a high quality product. Although I was quite mechanical by nature, I had no idea how to use the controls. The wire wears out as you cut it, and it's almost impossible to fit it into holes. I couldn't get the kill button hooks to work at all. If I buy something like this, I don't want to watch youtube videos to learn how to use it!

I took a chance extremely good value kit and couldn't be happier. The automatic lanyards are really easy to use and eliminate the need to crimp loops with ferrules on the ends, although these are also included. I wasn't sure if 1/16 inch wire would be strong enough, but I bought an M10 stainless steel spool and ran an 86 foot run from my soffit to a 40 foot 12 foot galvanized fence post (roll) and back to my canopy soffit. Since my initial order was as shown in the picture and it was enough to hang four sets of 24ft patio lights around the fish pond, re-ordered to add two more strands by Harbor Freight for patio lighting. Unfortunately, on the second order, 100 tips that I didn't need were replaced with gear that I did. My project has stalled because the workers I paid can no longer help me in the second phase.
