Very unobtrusive and good enough

These little guys are a bit pricey, but definitely serve as a niche tool that you probably won't need very often. I have my own water-cooled desktop and had to replace the three front fans as I didn't want to drain/disconnect the circuit (so remove them and leave the heatsink in place). The problem is that on my case I only had a small gap between the screw heads on the front of the fans and the glass pane. I bought this low profile screwdriver to replace the button rubber cover on my tailgate 4Runner - IE Works New Trunk Sunroof Lift Door Switch Open Button Cover Replacement Repair for Toyota Scion Lexus - Revain Item: B01BMMXOMU The tool is quite heavy for its size and turned out to be a quality screwdriver. Get those perfect low profile screwdrivers before you need them! Nothing else is suitable for small spaces!

These screwdrivers allowed us to attach the sunroof rail to our Isuzu Rodeo. The glass is held in place by screws that have about a half inch of clearance underneath, and no mechanic or dealership in our area will attempt to remove them for fear of breaking the glass. These screwdrivers easily get in a tight spot, allowing us to remove the glass, attach the guide, and put the glass back in place. Just remember that these are special tools for specific use cases.

The main cause of breakage is the lugs that hold the bits. The metal is thicker than I expected but this is where these guys fail. So if you're looking for something that can handle high torque, this isn't for you. Not just these, but all similar types of thin offset screwdrivers with this design. Also, you need good leverage when walking at an angle, so hopefully you'll have enough room to place your hand in that area while holding it. The best way I've found using it is to place the pen in…

When there is absolutely nothing else. These are lifesavers.

This is one of my favorite instruments. I rarely (maybe once a month) use them in my work, but when I do need them, they really do save a life. I've had them for over a year now and they've saved me dozens of hours of my time. It's one of those things that, when you need it, doesn't give you anything else.
