I received this as a gift and my first thought was that this is not another technology I need in my life. But I love fishing. So I downloaded the app and took it to my local stream. Nothing happens at this time of year, but I "logged" the trip with waypoints and catches. And it works. I can see this can go a long way towards keeping my rides clean and showing off to friends.

Bullseye worked fine. Quite easy. With the Anglr app you can sync them at the start of your trip, click to record your catch. Double-clicking creates a custom point that you can later modify. It sticks well to my hat and doesn't fall off. I was able to peel off the sticky backing without any problems. The only problem is that I had to reset my settings after updating the app. Press and hold the button for 8 seconds, then pair again. After that it worked perfectly again.

This product is very good. If you just want to use it to log your catches, that's great. I am also currently using my phone to navigate the water. You must have cellular signal to use this app, or at least maps. This forces me to use the second map app. It might be better for me if I didn't use a second navigation app at the same time. I was very excited when I received it. but once I did, I found that its application isn't quite where it should be. It was really buggy and rarely worked at all. After I paid for the subscription, I received an email saying they were changing everything and I would have to sign up again. I forgot the password I originally signed in with and tried to reset my password. The reset email never arrived after MANY attempts.
