I bought these because I was tired of cheap cables breaking after a month. So I decided to pay a bit more for durability hoping they would last at least a few months. BIG MISTAKE. Two weeks later next to my bed (no excessive wear and tear) the first one died. I don't expect more from the second.

I bought this dual charger kit and I am delighted! I like that it is certified and has a weave. Those were the two things I was looking for and the reason I bought it. I bought it in October and in February there was a problem with a cable. I contacted Anker, they got back to me quickly and my cable was replaced within a week. It was the best customer service ever! So quick and very friendly. I will definitely only buy from them from now on.

I've been an Anker fan for years but this one is a real letdown. I bought two of these cables in May (19) and the connectors were corroding with very little use. My photos show where the plugs have disappeared or been inserted into the plug. It's hard to get a good close-up. I'll contact Anker and see if they keep their word on their warranty. If you are considering this charger, let me try to convince you not to buy it: I was influenced by the decision to purchase this charger cable. It's long, strong and not an eyesore. It worked fine for a few days and then stopped charging unless I got up on one leg, jumped on my head and wiggled the cord to Eminem's "Lost Yourself" tune. I always buy Anker products for all my iPhone needs. I usually had a lot of experience with their products. When my iPhone charging cable that I received when I bought my new iPhone XS was already claiming degraded condition, I bought these cables.
