Don't Waste Your Money on this Power Regulator

According to my experience, this power regulator is not worth the investment. The item is advertised as being suitable for automotive purposes but it fails to work properly. The device produces inconsistent results that are counterintuitive to its stated function. The only positive aspect of this product is its price.

DC Boost Converter Finally Works

I've tried many DC boost converters and this is the only one in its category that just works with my homemade Li-ion battery charging app. All of the other models I've bought here at Revain were either underpowered or just couldn't handle the battery charge. With this module I easily charge 24V 6S 7000mAh in about 3 hours. A fan is required for this, as it gets quite hot at over 30 watts. Attention do-it-yourselfers! This product is hazardous to any circuit downstream of this device that cannot handle the full 90 volts that these devices generate. When the input current is less than 800mA at startup, the device will output about 90V regardless of the voltage setting.
