Bought these to see if I could style my mom's hair. She has nice thin short hair and I think it can be fun for a fluffy set at times. Mom is 81 years old. It's super old school - I hope I can do this with styling mousse.

I use these with 3" bobby pins instead of bars so there's no risk of burring on the cap. I buy these because the little ridges hold my hair better than straight rollers. ( My hair tends to fall off straight hair.) I don't clip rollers together, I put them on my head one at a time.

Styling your hair is so easy. And some curls last for days afterwards. I struggle with almost everything that was easy when I was young, and now that I'm old, these curlers are my only answer. Especially now that the hair has grown long due to Covid 19.

The nature of these curlers makes it difficult to collect more than a few strands of hair in one, especially since the size of the curl is also very small. Mine do wear out after a few uses, so fit more hair, but that means they don't stay on as well, which is equally frustrating.
