I bought a Nano. good, but not to be used more than once. The Wi-Fi enabled version, also metal and more powerful, is $139 to get Wi-Fi capability. It is excellent! Management from anywhere. Outside in the yard. at work. Set it in the morning for dinner. Switch on in the afternoon. It's quiet and intuitive. Cozy. Beats joules. and I've tested and verified them all against similar America's Test Kitchen comparisons. This is the one you want!

Don't waste your time with this machine

Having never used the sous vide method before, I decided to invest in Anova's best sous vide machine, the Anova Pro. Received 3 days ago. Along with the manual, the website, and the person who was with me and had experience with one of their cheaper and older models, we attempted to connect the device to my WiFi and Bluetooth on my iPhone 10. The first device never connected and the display was essentially frozen. This useless process wasted all the time we spent cooking sous vide, so we baked…

Malfunction of the thermometer. Lemon fluke or bad thermometer?

I've had the product for 2 weeks, I've used it 6 times and 3 of those times it didn't keep the right temperature. First I cooked the chicken at 140 degrees, and she cooked it at 179 degrees. The second time I cooked burger patties at 129 degrees, the temperature rose to 139 degrees before I turned it off. I may have discovered the problem while watching him cook ribs at 145 degrees when I suddenly saw the thermostat read 103 degrees which could explain why the heating element turned on when the

I decided to take a chance on this item

So despite the bad reviews I decided to take a chance on this item given the half price ($200) Some notes about me: I love steak . i love grilling I love smoking brisket. I have a Big Green Egg and a Rec-Tec Pellet Grill and use both regularly. When I make a brisket it's a big deal, people drive 140 miles one way to get it (I don't do anything fancy, I just use fresh seasoning and good beef to start with). My technique of cooking steaks on a cast iron stove is also welcome. I'm also tech savvy.

Don't waste your money, buy cheaper options that actually work.

I want to start with an old classic Anova and a Joule. Both are great cars. Ease of use etc. I was so excited when the Pro came out as I was making more and more large meals and the extra power and durability sounded great. In short: WiFi doesn't work and Anova support is terrible. Both in terms of response time and quality of actions. Finally gave up after the second machine didn't work either. Stick with the Nano or the regular machine. Don't waste your money with a professional. A more…
