Overall a great buy, best buy of any CCTV DVR

Excellent system. At first it was difficult to sync on the computer and see all the channels from the cameras, but after the initial hurdle the system works very well.

This POE NVR WORKS BEST in CCTV DVRs

LISTEN, this NVR is elegant! Firmly ! And compact! It's not just unobtrusive. No name ever better for installers, especially the layman, and this is a great product that renders plentiful 4K graphics, including managed PoE ports with power fluency detail.

NVR is good. Easy setup but NO Mac plugin for Safari or Firefox Mac

I have 4 PoE cameras and they work fine. The local PoE switch on the NVR is set to use the 192.168.254.0 network, which works fine. My only issue with the NVR, there is NO Mac plugin for Safari or Firefox Mac. Both browsers will download the .exe file on Mac. I have tested on a Mac with 11.4 (Intel processor), 10.15 and 1014. I tested the NVR from the windows box, the plugin installed and worked fine on windows.

Good value for money if you are comfortable with your own hands and networking

Set this up to run and record five Anpviz 3MP PoE cameras and you're good to go! My device arrived with a defective hard drive, but Anpviz replaced it for me for free, so good customer service there! This is a WD Purple drive, so designed to be read/written constantly and store about 3 weeks of footage (five cameras, 2 24/7 and 3 only record half a day). Relatively expensive, renamed HikVision

TLDR: A small, compact device that is difficult to set up for the less tech-savvy. App and PC software by HikVision. Also a bit overpriced ($151) considering it doesn't come with HD or cameras. You have an existing LaView system that is now failing. Purchased this security system along with several others on Prime Day 2021. Great Quiet NVR - Surveillance Gear

This is one of the best NVRs I have ever owned. I use it with several non-Hikvision ONVIF cameras and everything works fine. The setup was a bit tricky as I don't connect my cameras directly to the NVR's POE ports but use my own POE switch connected to my router. And my router connects to the NVR. To set it up, I connected an HDMI monitor and the included mouse to the NVR. The tricky part was adding the cameras as they weren't directly connected to the NVR.
