🚗 Toyota Tundra 2007-2020 6 3/4″ Antenna MAST from TrunkNets Inc – Enhanced Search-Engine Optimized Review

I had a 3" on my old Tundra. Several stations in North Houston were unclear. Bought the 6" version for my new Tundra. This one works great. Every station in town seems clean.

Antenna exactly as advertised and exactly what I was hoping for. Fits and matches my 2015 Tundra perfectly. I live in a rural area with lots of mountains and the reception can be even better than a standard 30 inch antenna.

Nice height antenna. Not too stocky and not too big. I still get preset radio stations and have no complaints. The construction feels solid and will hopefully stand the test of time.

A shorter antenna was chosen for style and to avoid having to remove the long antenna for every wash. I love the look and the fit. I unscrewed the old one and put it back in. However, I ordered the suggested antenna bag. Although I'm sure the old one will work too. mine was broken

Make sure you also replace the mounting base plate: I ordered the 86392-0C040 base plate mounted handheld radio antenna (pictured). Installation was pretty easy. Removing the old frame was a bit of a pain. I used needle nose pliers and pulled it out piece by piece. Looks 100 times better than it was and I don't have to worry about the washer not tearing again.

The antenna looks a lot sharper than the standard 31" metal antenna and doesn't look sporty. One was installed in about 2 minutes. The product was exactly as advertised and so far the quality has been as good as the factory antenna with FM and HD radio reception in Orlando, Florida where I live. my expectations and I hope it will stand the test of time for the weather here in Florida. I had a stock antenna latch on my 2015 Tundra and although I had a lot of fun taking the fender apart to get to it (had to pull it out, drill out and use a bolt extraction kit to get the broken part out). ) it came in like a charm and is great for an urban reception. I haven't been to the mountains yet, but I mostly listen to music or podcasts on my phone anyway. Bought for my 2014 Toyota Tundra. Simple mod for your truck. The old antenna is unscrewed, this one is unscrewed. I live in suburban Northwest Houston for reference. If my standard antenna had 100% reception, then this had about 99%. I still get all my HD channels and all my low power FM channels. I don't use AM. I lost 1% of the score because sometimes there was a "not so clear" moment, but it only lasted a few seconds. You can still hear the stations perfectly, but it's not crystal clear…

The shorty antenna I received did not fit my 2011 Tundra. The trim base deteriorated under the Florida sun and was replaced and changed from a 31 inch mast to a short one. Well, it's too big for the base of the antenna. It's probably my fault. So don't always choose the cheaper one. Short OEM can be an option. I did not receive a discount on this order.
