This tape gives my basement stairs extra support. After my roommate slipped on the stairs, and a week later, me too. I bought this tape to make stairs safer and it has worked well. My only complaint is that the adhesive is a little weak and can slide off the steps. So before I figured out the hard way whether the glue would work or not, I simply decided to use my construction stapler to attach the straps to the steps. After 3-4 years the old anti slip tape on our concrete steps needed to be replaced. After cleaning and repainting I put 3 strips of tape, one on the wood, two on the concrete. I applied them in the mid 70's in the shade at air temperature so ideal conditions. The next morning some of the edges popped out so I pushed them back in. I used this to add a little extra support to a long wooden ramp. The width made it possible to quickly and easily attach two long strips along the entire length.
