Product has an adhesive backing for easy installation on stairs. I actually bought these for my aging dog, the new composite floor is very slippery. I would have liked them to be a bit thicker, especially in the New England winter.

My mother is getting older and more unstable every day. She has steps leading up to her house and they scared her at how slippery they got when worn down. I found this anti slip tape and thought we could try it. This worked PERFECTLY for what we needed. It was easy to install and gives her a more secure footing on the steps! Great product, great price, highly recommend.

We have 2 elderly dogs with aching joints that need support on the new ramp we are building for them. These stripes are amazing! Very easy to put on and they are sandy enough to get the hold you want but not so sandy that they hurt when rubbed or walked on. I'm also very impressed with the adhesion. The day after we put them on, we had very heavy rain (and even a few tornado touchdowns) and they didn't budge. 100% recommended.

This is great if you have a fully tiled house like mine. They come in handy in cold/wet weather. It's also great if you have a puppy that is older and needs something to hold on to. The moose (dog) has some problems so I placed them where he enters the door because it's better than falling or slipping. The item is well packed, rolled up in a carton. After the parts were leveled a bit, I proceeded to install them. I prepped the area with rubbing alcohol and let it dry before applying the protectors. The backing was easy to remove and when applied to the stairs, the treads laid well and the adhesive adhered well to the prepared surface. Used adhesive strips for a wooden wheelchair ramp. I thought I would have trouble placing the strips on the tree but once the strips are placed they don't move or rise. The strips worked well. Can't comment on durability as I only installed it last week. Update: When it first started raining, the strips started curling up around the edges and were a tripping hazard. I really liked these stairs. I got them for my mother who is unsure about her legs. I put them on the concrete porch at the back of the house and went down the stairs.
