The powder coating of the brackets was too thick. Does not allow the use of the screws and washers provided as they are too short to accommodate the thickness of the coating. Overall, the product appears to be made from quality parts.

These luggage racks are the same as the original GMC only a lot cheaper. They look great and fit my GMC Acadia 2021 perfectly. The installation instructions weren't very clear but once you figure it out they are very easy to install. Excellent purchase!

I really liked the style, very thick and well made. They're perfect for my Acadia 2021. They would have been easy to install, but when I screwed in the screws to hold the two pieces of the stand together, the receiver side just twisted in place. So I couldn't remove the screw or screw it all the way in. This was done with 3 out of 4 screws. I had to go back. Very disappointed as I liked everything else about them.

I want to use this product. The packaging was great. The product was well made and seemed easy to install. I have Acadia 2017 and it should work. It's not like this. I was expecting the screws to fit the existing roof rails, but the brackets are made with horizontally mounted screws. I just installed it on my 2021 Acadia. The front ones were easier to put on than the back ones, but they fit snugly and look great! The back rail is actually shorter than the front, just make sure you insert the rail all the way into the bracket before tightening the bottom screws. This will help attach the rear brackets to the factory side rails. Easy installation but the instruction page leaves a lot to be desired. There are 16 bolts, 2 sets of 8 but only 8 washers that fit both bolt sizes…

These items are well built and come with quality hardware. The finish looks like a powder coat, and there's even an inlaid rubber strip on top of the rails that will take any load you put on them without scratching the surface or becoming unsightly. I'm curious how good the finish will be over time - sometimes powder paint can fade/whiten quickly. We'll see - I'll update the review if they turn out to be lousy.
