This DVR mount fits my newly purchased Roav DVR BUT the connector won't detach from the DVR. I gave up removing it, I'm afraid of damaging the DVR. The good news is that it fits my dash cam. The bad news is that it's now firmly installed and there's no hope of using any other type of mount. The only way to remove the DVR is to unscrew one of the screws, which is too much work. So, I'm stuck and not happy with it.

I had to read reviews that didn't fully describe directions/instructions. I wouldn't order that. so disappointing.

In general it does what it promises. I tried several times to glue the original mount for my camera but after a few days it ended up in my lap. Found this option while searching and works well so far. I'll give you some time-saving advice and tell you when you start assembling, insert the screws from the top. I love the idea of mounting the camera to my rearview mirror for two reasons: 1. It doesn't fall off like a suction cup mount.2. In the summer I can slide the sun visor between the camera and the windshield. Surely one of the 15 included camera connections will fit your dash cam. This dash cam mount is fairly easy to install and allowed me to add a sun visor when parking in the hot Phoenix sun. I love that I don't have to rely on a suction cup just to melt my windshield in this Arizona heat. It hangs perfectly under my rearview mirror. I used this mount for Anker's Roay dashcam A1. The mount was easy to mount on the mirror and from 16 available hinges I easily found one that matched my dashcam model. The bracket does not block the functions of the DVR or the mirror and does not block the view. I bought 2 Welcam dashcams and didn't want to mount them directly to my car's windshield using the self-adhesive mounting plates that came with them. These rear view mirror mounting kits seemed like a good alternative to this one and they came with some minor modifications.
