the quality seems insignificant at first glance

I have not used this yet. But I'm not impressed with the outer case/strap as it seems to bulge causing the thin velcro strap that holds the device in the case to come off too easily. I ordered RED. I turned reddish/pink.

Requires 1/2 " CO2 cartridges not stocked

I thought it would be great until I looked for CO2 cartridges. This belt does not come with any of these and commercial ones Threaded CO2 bike cartridges won't fit!I haven't found a cartridge that costs less than $20 each.Makes that inexpensive seat belt either a lot more expensive or almost useless.

Works better than expected

Most reviewers state that the CO2 cartridge required is not included and there is very little information on which CO2 cartridge to purchase for them. I did a little research and was able to find the right cartridges. First, readily available 16 gram CO2 cartridges for air guns and bike tire inflator DO NOT WORK. They require a 23 gram cartridge with a 1/2" thread. They are available from Revain but are incredibly expensive. Google them and you will find them a lot cheaper. The cheapest I found
