Works very well. to Test, Measure & Inspect

It is suitable for light to medium duty applications and the magnet sticks firmly to metal. I like a knob that tightens and loosens all the levers, it makes adjustments a lot easier. And when you put it on, all the arms are ribbed. It's great for what I use it for.

No more broken dovetail clamps!

So far better than what I got with my western dial indicator. I love that it holds both my dial gauge and lever gauges. Trained industrial mechanic, 1 week in action and all I can say is pay attention to the correct alignment of the minute adjustment, otherwise you will ruin everything. I don't use it 99% of the time so I just fix it on the spot. The magnet is also stronger than my other stand. No more flimsy dovetail clamps that break. Thank you!

Easy to install and adjust

It is very convenient to tighten all the connections at once with one touch. The clamp tool holder works well, much better than clamps that use the tab on the back of the dial gauge. If you have one of the ubiquitous cases for a dial indicator, socket, and point set, this socket will do, but you may need to snap a photo once you receive it so you can redo the job. I spent an embarrassing half hour trying to figure out how I did it the second time around! Here's a photo of how it sits.
