Product appears to be useful but 2006 Civics have a 6 pin power connector under the console for extra connection so the adapter has a 5 pin connector so I don't plug it in could, maybe it will work for newer models, thanks

Worked great in our 2006 Honda Civic. Getting the old one out wasn't easy. Check YouTube for tips. Be careful on the last pull when pulling on the old one to avoid damaging the wires. The new connector is as simple as plugging in and sliding in the connection.

Our connector in the console between the front seats has failed. It was a great and quick replacement. I used plastic finish tools and the old connector popped out. The new one is rewired without any DIY setting, just plug and play.

The part arrived in less than 24 hours and restored the aux function of the main unit. The only tricky part of this repair was unplugging the original connector and disconnecting the pigtail. Once I got my hands on the replacement, it took less than a minute to get it installed and working.

Product works well. The only thing to note is that the molded frame of this replacement is flat, while the frame of the OEM's optional port housing is angled to fit the panel. The gap (shown in the picture) does not affect the functionality in any way, as the case frame is only a cover and does not serve as a support.

I was watching a YouTube video showing how to replace the aux connector on my 2009 Acura MDX. I was tired of wiggling the cable into the right spot to make it work, so I finally ordered a replacement, watched the video and replaced it myself. Little did I know how easy it would be. Now I have no problems and the aux works great, I don't have to fiddle with it at all.

Works but does not match the quality of the OEM part. The door cover is labeled upside down which, when installed as printed, will result in the cover opening upwards towards the electrical connection above. As this part is not to OEM specs, the door cover part will not fit the OEM bracket, it only matters because it takes a lot more effort to get the whole thing out than just replacing the PCB/connector part and cover.

I had my doubts that a non-genuine part would work. My wife was disappointed that the aux port on her Honda Civic stopped working. Seems to be something that shouldn't age so quickly on a Honda. I took another reviewer's advice and pulled out the old aux with pliers. At first I didn't think the wire would be enough to replace it without removing other items from the dash. However, with just enough tugging and wiggling, and with another pair of hands to catch it, we were able to press the latch with a screwdriver to pull the old one out and it was fairly easy to slot in the new one. It fits just like the old one and works like a charm. I am very happy.

After watching youtube videos on repairing a faulty aux jack on a honda civic this worked. As shown in the videos, you don't need to replace this whole unit, just pry off the outer bezel with the flip cover, then grab the round AUX connector itself with a pair of pliers and pull it straight out along with the small circuit board.
