I was able to expand one side of the stretcher under the airplane seat in front of me to allow my pup to stretch out. I still had enough legroom.

I have a 13 year old cat that weighs about 18 pounds and he fits comfortably in his carrier. I haven't taken it on long trips, but it works wonders for short trips. It is also easy to clean and tidy up. love it

I sent this to my granddaughter to bring back two Yorkies from California. and she said it would be great for two puppies and it has air vents on three sides which is what the airlines want. She hasn't used it yet but will be in mid-March.

Love all the carry features, extra space and multiple compartments. My dog falls asleep every time I put him in it. She is so comfortable in it. She would just go straight to him for cover. I ordered another one because she chewed on the zippers and made a whole inside.

This carrier is perfect. I use it entirely as an outer tent for my cat when we hang out on the patio. She can't stand in it, but she can lie down and watch birds and squirrels. She loves it and starts right away. I can't vouch for it being airline approved but it's solid and well made and we love it.

When fully closed, it's too tight for a big cat. But at the same time it gave her a sense of security. When it's fully open, there's enough room inside for her to stretch out and move around. I will be buying at least 3 more for my upcoming move.

This is exactly what my cat needs for long car journeys. I put it on the back seat, open the sides and my cat can lie down comfortably. If I need to pick it up in the stretcher, I just close the sides and pick it up. However, I would like the carrier to be a bit longer and wider when zipped up for a cat my size. However, for smaller cats/dogs or a kitten/puppy, this carrier will work just fine.
