I use Aqua Clear 20 in a lightly planted 10 gallon aquarium. I replaced the activated carbon filter with a second sponge to better filter bacteria and not absorb fertilizer.

I use them for the Aqueon 10G filter. I cut them out and use them in overflow instead of the nasty little bits they give. They last a lot longer and I can get 2 for pads that last twice as long. Excellent quality for my purpose! Recommended

I wanted to install this with an Aqua Tech suspension filter which is a 3 stage filtration. However, the filter is too thick, so I cut it in half to have room for another filter element and a biological ceramic bag. It's ok if you have a larger filter. He does his job and the fish are happy about it. For now I would recommend this filter foam.

I bought this to use in my HOB filters rather than the expensive cartridges they recommend buying. I didn't want charcoal in my tanks and this filter sponge works well and fits my filters after I cut them to size. I have used them with filters they are not intended for. I also put this in my hospital tank to help with filtration. All in all, it's very versatile.

I bought these to slow down my filter and make it safer for shrimp! I cut a hole in a piece of one of these sponges and stick it onto my filter inlet tube to prevent the shrimp from being sucked through the holes. It's not pretty because you can see dirt on the white sponge, but I'm more concerned with functionality. This filter material is great! I bought my first pack from a local fish shop a few months ago and now that it's time for a change I've decided to stick with the same brand. Buying in multiple packs here is way cheaper than each LFS! I was recommended this brand for use in my Azoo Mignon 60 filter and while I have to trim the foam a bit to fit it I still couldn't be happier with it. It does the job wonderfully!
