Does not fit Fluval 70, there is a gap at the top. I took an old foam filter and cut it off just enough to close the gap and it works great!

My shrimp are no longer being sucked into the filter which is great! I don't have a tank that's particularly prone to algae, but I have to clean it quite often. It's still worth it!

This product runs much smaller than I expected. Since there were two of them, we're going to cut each one to fit our filter. Too bad because it looks great!

I have an Aqua Clear brewing filter and I have been using sponges on the inlet and it kept clogging. I bought them and there wasn't a single problem, except for the black collar that keeps slipping off, which allows the mesh to come loose.

I bought this to prevent my tetras from being sucked into the suction tube and unfortunately I lost my remaining dozen tetras. The fit was perfect but it didn't prevent my tetras from being sucked into the intake tube. It would probably work if it was wider and still kept the tip. This will not work on small fish of 1 inch or less.

I used to use a sponge pre-filter for my shrimp tank but the sponge clogged up so quickly I had to clean it every week so I bought this beauty. It arrived today and fits my aquaclear 30 suction tube perfectly. Love it, the quality is so nice. It's just very slick compared to others I've read. Yes, it's more expensive, but it's really well made. I have tetras, guppies and lots of shrimp and none of them actually sucked on the filter, the shrimp feed on the debris that sucked on it.
