Happy with this aquarium for our rooster. He seems a lot happier than in his little jar we put him in. I wish the light was a little brighter but overall very happy with the low flow of the filter and the overall size/ease of cleaning. Maybe we'll buy a bigger tank for it in the future, but so far so good!

The center baffle is thin and will not stick to the tank walls. My bettas can squeeze in which is not good for two male bettas! (Luckily they didn't kill each other. They just crippled their tail fins.) The hole in the top of the tank isn't ideal for feeding two separate fish. ground and being devoured before they even get a chance to feed. Not worth the money.

I bought this with the intention of using it on a young female Betta. My betta is still a baby but she loves it. I was a little worried about the reviews saying the filter was too strong, but I cut off a small piece of biofoam (you can find it for less than $5 ) to slow down the filter a bit and honestly it works great. I like this tank. Not sure about other reviews saying it kills fish. My beta often swims past the filter and doesn't suck it up. It also has a grill-like lid to prevent this from happening. A divider that I believe is flush with the tank and prevents fish from getting through. I've had 2 betas for over a month and not once has it managed to switch sides.
