Good handheld thermometer. I use them all the time and you can't beat the price! A moderate chart also makes it easy not to overcook the meat. The first thing I did was open it up to check its accuracy. I put it in a glass of ice water and it immediately dropped to 32 degrees, which is the right way to test meat thermometer accuracy. Glory! Good product!

This thermometer is much longer than my other one, so I don't burn my hand. I like the digital display, it's easier to read. And it folds up and easily fits in my drawer. i really like it UPDATE: After using it for a while I'm changing my rating to one star. It started reading anything as 200 degrees and then the temp sensor broke in my hand. Don't buy this crap.

However, after not too many months of use, it failed to read the temperature, showing "LO" on the display instead. What does that mean? I decided I needed a new battery - it didn't help. I ordered a new one, hope you have better luck with it. Luckily they are not too expensive.
