Fits and works great

These luggage racks fit perfectly in the tailgate of my 02 Envoy. They are very strong and I never have to worry about the tailgate falling on my head again.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

Ideal for 05 Envoy SLE

Works and fits perfectly. Install in a flash. Didn't know my old ones had gone that far until these did. The back is almost raised.

Pros
  • Nice to use
Cons
  • Disappears

The Trailblazer SS 6.0 is the best at lifting legs

The Trailblazer SS tailgate sagged more and more every day. Spent 10 minutes replacing them in my garage! Costs money! The door now swings open and stays up!

Pros
  • The best
Cons
  • Very expensive

Waste of money good for lifting legs

Install them, no problem. But they will NOT shrink. General! It felt like glass breaking. Took them off and tried to compress them by hand. I'm 6ft 3cm and 265 pounds and I CANNOT manually push any of them against a block wall. Will send them back

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Miscellaneous Miscellaneous

Fits perfectly. So happy

Accurate description. Installation 5 mins. I removed the clips from the old shock absorbers, lifted the trunk and pulled out the old one by hitting it. New ones appear with one click. Leave the clips on, it just pops out and stays in place. So Freskin is happy. It felt good to have my suitcase back upstairs. 2002 Pioneer LS

Pros
  • Hands-free work
Cons
  • mindless

Very good shocks. It may be too strong for some.

Installed on the tailgate of a Chev Trailblazer. Worked great and installed like the others before so all went well. They do a great job/help lift a heavy sunroof and are better than others I've used in that regard. However, they are too heavy/strong for other people if they don't have the strength I have (I don't lift weights but develop arm strength through projects I do). I've used them many times and they haven't visibly weakened or weakened, but I hope they will eventually.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Unreliable

cheaply made spend the extra $10

Bought these because I was trying to save a few bucks. Here is the first lesson. Spend an extra 10 and get the ones that actually come from a quality controlled place. As with all the others, shipping was quick (even around Christmas) and installation was easy, so it shouldn't matter who makes it. But then I tried to close the hatch. The pistons are difficult to compress, which leads to the closing of the deformed hatch. Not funny. When they open, the piston jumps halfway before fully opening…

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Negative gift
