Description of ArangoDB

With more than 11,000 stargazers on GitHub, ArangoDB is the leading open-source multi-model graph database. Powering the concept of ‘graph and beyond,’ ArangoDB combines the power of graphs with JSON documents, a key-value store, and a full-text search engine, enabling developers to access and combine all of these data models with a single, elegant, declarative query language. Gaining the ability to perform graph analytics queries while also reducing the number of database technologies used in production is valuable for developers, operations, and business teams. ArangoDB's native support of all of these data models, a search engine, a built-in microservices framework, and a large presence of community integrations result in development efforts spent on the product and not the tooling. Simplifying complexity and increasing productivity is the mission of ArangoDB Inc., the company behind the project. Founded in 2015, ArangoDB Inc. is a privately held company backed by Bow Capital and Target Partners. It is headquartered in San Francisco and Cologne, Germany, with offices and employees around the world. Learn more at www.arangodb.com.

Great Product For Relational Database Design

There's many options in this software to use. With that said, their documentation could be much better. I've had some problems understanding where I can go when using it wrong. But you'll soon learn what you need and how you're supposed to use it. There are so many options, I had no idea where I could start. If you want an integrated way to create complex DBs such as relational databases. Then I think it's best fit for your needs. I'm able to get a lot done with this tool. The flexibility of…

Highly scalable NoSQL document-based databasede

Easy integration into Spring Boot applications as well as other Java EE technologies like JPA or REST APIs using Jersey/Jackson framework for serialization / deserialisation. The documentation could be improved in some areas but it's not bad at all. It took me about 2 hours from setting up my first application until I realized that everything was working perfectly fine by just looking at how easy it was to implement an existing solution without having any prior experience with this technology…

  • Extremely fast

  • Setup
  • Very flexible even when compared against NoSQL databases.
  • Documentation available online which makes implementation very simple & straightforward!
Cons
  • Somewhat expensive if you plan installing locally

Pros
  • It's very simple for developers or system admins working with big datasets without much knowledge about databases (MySQL etc.) because they can start using Mongo db right out of box; also you need not worry that any update will make all your data lost since mongo database doesn't support transactions! I think this should be taken into
