Description of 🌬️ Enhance Cooling Efficiency with Arctic Silver 5 Thermal Paste - 3.5g High-Density Polysynthetic Silver - Bonus Tool Included!

Arctic Silver 5 contains over 88% thermally conductive filler by weight. In addition to micronized silver, Arctic Silver 5 also contains sub-micron zinc oxide, aluminum oxide and boron nitride particles. Its unique high-density filling of micronized silver and enhanced thermally conductive ceramic particles, Arctic Silver 5 provides a new level of performance and stability. Bonus Tool will come in handy rather then getting your hands dirty. Coverage Area: A 3.5g gram syringe contains enough compound to cover at least 15 to 25 small CPU cores, or 6 to 10 large CPU cores, or 2 to 5 heat plates. At a layer 0.003" thick, the 3.5g gram syringe will cover approximately 16 square inches. 3 to 12 degrees centigrade lower CPU full load core temperatures than standard thermal compounds or thermal pads when measured with a calibrated thermal diode imbedded in the CPU core.

Used this on several of my devices including my 2012 13" MacBook Pro (No Retina). The factory paste didn't turn out to be that bad yet, but it was cleaned and applied anyway. The thermal paste wasn't as improved as I expected, about the same as the factory paste that was on it, but for a car with REALLY old thermal paste you'll definitely be covered.I'm planning on doing this on my Xbox 360 Elite and to see how well it works.overall it will definitely help an aging car that needs a new paste…

Cons
  • Some minor things

This thermal paste is excellent both in quality and price but the spatula that comes with it is not very useful. This mass is very dense and sticky which is great for ensuring good adhesion and longevity of use but because it is so dense and sticky the spatula doesn't really work to apply or spread the mass, it just grabs all. it and peel it off the surface you want to apply. You're better off just using a syringe and applying the appropriate amount directly to the surface rather than trying to

SOLVE our problem with graphics cards.

We have 2 computers with AMD RX590 Fatboy graphics cards. Both had occasional but frequent freezes/crashes. I read a post that said applying better thermal paste might help. I removed the heatsink from both cards and cleaned up all the old paste. I tried Arctic Silver and was amazed at how effective it is. Since then no problems with any card. I wonder why manufacturers don't just use this material during assembly. This may not solve your problem, but I'm so glad I tried.

Excellent thermal paste.

Excellent composition. I have always used AS5 for my thermal paste needs and it has served me well. It used to be an expensive compound to buy if you wanted quality. But now there are other more expensive options on the market. I just couldn't justify the extra cost of an important connection from companies that don't make thermal paste forever. I also like the little spreader that comes with the kit. I only want them to include two because I always lose them and have to find something else to…

Creme de la Creme at Computer Components

My Ps4 kept shutting down due to overheating so I decided to open it up and clean it. I thought the thermal paste was gone from my chip because I literally turn the Ps4 on and you can hear the fan spin up immediately. I would probably play for 5 minutes, give an overheating error and then the playstation would turn off. I opened up and cleaned my chip you see in the picture which had almost no paste on it. I put the artik on the chip and plug in the PS4. I started it and since then I haven't…

My temperature has dropped significantly

My computer slowed down under heavy load. I checked the temperature and under load it reached 90°C, which was very annoying since my CPU cooler is too big. I ordered lint free wipes and this thermal paste. I used 91% isopropyl alcohol on a lint free cloth to remove the old thermal paste from the CPU and heatsink. I repeated this process with a clean area of fabric until all of the thermal paste was removed, then did this twice more using buffing motions to get the area as clean as possible. I…

You can always rely on Arctic Silver 5.

A long time ago, in the distant past, I dug deep into the most reviewed thermal paste. In the end I chose Arctic Silver 5. For many years the only thermal paste I have ever used because it has never let me down. Not once. As someone who doesn't fiddle or build on a regular basis, I appreciate the little tube because it no doubt dries up before I need it again. I had an application that lasted about five years! While I don't recommend waiting that long, you can definitely get 2-3 years if you…
