Fits VW in Tank Fuel Pump

I used this to remove the fuel pump retaining ring on a VW TDI lift pump and it fit perfectly and worked great. Looks sturdy and well made and is cheap.

Cons
  • Some Errors

Do not buy a used hammer and driver.

It's well made, but it doesn't work very well. I turned the fuel pump hat in the tank but not very well. It was easier to use a hammer and screwdriver

Must have tools.: Replacement Parts

After watching many YouTube videos and not being able to open the cover of my AUDI A4 Avant fuel pump with a screwdriver as shown in the videos, this tool worked how Magic. The manual says to change the fuel filter every 30,000 miles and now I can do it. The fuel pump on my car failed after 99,000 km, now I do it myself on my two Audis.

Pros
  • Electric Fuel Pumps
Cons
  • Operating Speed

Paid for itself the first time it was used.

I bought this specifically to use on the metal rings on some of the latest Toyota models. I've used it about 20 times and it works well. The screws holding the legs in the middle feel a little flimsy, but they held and didn't need to be tightened. I prefer this type of tool because it touches the ring a little better than the others due to the square ends. Many other tools are designed for plastic ferrules and will not work with metal ferrules. This tool does not slip easily even when a lot ofโ€ฆ
