Best of Steering and Suspension Tools

Worked great on my VW Golf. There were a couple of reviews saying something broke but maybe it was the other one I was looking at anyway if the ball joint doesn't pop with enough pressure let it sit a minute and eventually break.

Pros
  • Best of its niche
Cons
  • old

May bend under pressure

Maybe I was unlucky but the lever arm bent when tightened and didn't push out the ball joint. It seems like a solid tool, but I expect the metal to be tough enough to snap rather than bend. It might work on a less tight ball joint.

Pros
  • Annual trial period
Cons
  • There are problems

Much better than a sole fork to remove tie rod ends

Thing is much better than using a sole fork to remove tie rod ends. Mine were stubborn and that helped. I use this on 4 tie rod ends. Even if I never use it again, I feel like I got my money's worth for the amount of time and energy it saved.

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
Cons
  • Vulgarity

Lighter thanks to the hammer of the fork

2 ball joints and 2 tie rods pressed out. Easter way than the standard fork, which turns them off. Had to cut the ball joint nuts off and use the leftover rod and this thing popped out, be careful unless everything is bolted together. I studied the second side and it worked very well. good tool.

Pros
  • Ideal for a small house
Cons
  • Doubtful purchase for the elderly
