Enclosure boxes protect and secure power backups and security devices in a debris-free environment. Made of heavy-duty, UV-rated non-metallic material, dimensions: 12" x 12" x 4". Enclosure boxes are lockable with a latch that accommodates a padlock. Enclosure accepts an optional key-lock, front door has a knockout that fits cam-lock(model: EBL1-1). handy 1/2-inch and 3/4-inch knockouts on top and bottom of enclosure box. Non-metallic enclosure boxes - for protecting and securing power backups and security devices in a debris-free environment. Made of heavy-duty, UV-rated non-metallic material, dimensions: 12" x 12" x 4". Enclosure boxes are lockable with a latch that accommodates a padlock. Solar controller for RV portable charging system.

Worked well I was able to get all the controls for my portable solar charging system. It would be better if it included a removable inner panel that you could use fasteners on so you keep the box waterproof and don't have screw heads on the outside of the box.

Great box at a good price

The quality has improved. This box now has cutouts that are waterproof until removed. The quality of the finish is good, with no roughness. Great product at a good price. This box works well with the hinge either way, but for the best protection mount the hinge on top. You might want to install plywood on the back so you can screw components in, but I just attached my timer and transformer to the back of the box with stainless steel screws.

See the attached photo, this is the label that will appear on the case when you receive it. There is also no removable compartment inside. I was looking for an electronics case for a large 50A 12V power supply. This case worked very well and is very durable. I had to cut a big hole for the fan. Drilling was really difficult. If you plan to drill or cut this box, be prepared! The plastic is thick! Overall a solid product for the price. Highly recommended.

The outdoor rating seems to be more suitable for indoor use. Good for alarm panel housing

The product list is not clear. The 12x12 is currently available with or without a backplate, with the backplate model being the more expensive model. For my project a smaller 8" block would be the best option, I didn't even notice that option when ordering. So I have plenty of free space in mine and could save about $10. Okay. Given the built in holes I would don't use it outdoors. Although people state using it outdoors after the holes are closed. I use it indoors for an alarm panel.

Good for the price, the best equipment

Nice box for a project. Bought a 12x12x4 box. Measurements are external, sides are 1/8" thick, so 1/4" less on the inside. The hinge makes the box appear larger from the outside, as other reviews have mentioned, with the lid's external dimensions being 12.5 x 13. I bought the box without the stand, but it's the same box without the extra piece of plastic, with four coasters in each corner. There are also two mounting holes in each of the corners that have raised ribs around them so the inside…
