Very light, wobbles a lot in stand and upholstery hinge. The stance will wobble when the legs are fully extended. Not comparable to shop armrests. Luckily I got this extra to put my hand on while painting to take the pressure off my shoulders. But even with slight pressure and completely unscrewed handles, this is not stable.

Excellent price Excellent purchase 4 stars because it falls off with a long session. You sometimes need to tone up regularly during the session. besides, it's great. I don't see how it would be a foot rest for a tattoo session, just arms or hands. it's too high but overall I've been using it a lot since I've had it and I love it and my clients love it too. I wish it was a little lower.

I bought it for my son who is a tattoo artist. He let me know that this is a great addition to his kit and saves him a lot of time tattooing.
