This device works well as an ashtray. It opens and closes. It doesn't contribute to the "smoke-free" claim, but since it closes tightly, it keeps odors out when not heavily used, which helps as I only occasionally have smokers in my car. The LED was not working upon arrival. I'm not sure if it's a bug or a lack of charge, but if it's a problem with the battery, it's impossible to charge it. There are no charging ports.

I like it very much, although there are some nuances. The size is perfect for my cup holder. I especially like the lid. It's big enough to hold maybe three cigars of rubbish before needing to be emptied, so here's the thing. My nit? LED light. There is no obvious way to charge or replace the battery.
