Excellent material. I didn't realize how synthetic they are, they're almost like sweatpants mixed with compression/yoga wear. Therefore, they are very breathable and quite warm. The small size fit me perfectly with a regular pant size of 28x32, with a 4 inch ankle opening my toes. So the 6 inch ankle opens from the floor to the bottom of the pant, allowing your shoes to breathe no matter how high your shoes are. I'm shocked that Asics who normally make quality products put their name on these things. The waist is very small. I ordered the 2XL because other reviews said the size was too small. Medium waist (36 inches) is normally required - so be aware that these tights are approximately half the size of what you normally wear. Ordered size XL, although I mostly wear medium-sized trousers from other brands. Second, they appear to be made for very tall men, so if you're under 5ft 9", you'll have a few inches of extra leg material.
