Saved me the stress of a broken trunk

The original part on my 2012 Hyundai Veloster broke. I bought it thinking it was a cheap copy of the original part. But the quality is really good. Easy to install and I am very happy with this purchase.

Pros
  • Tested for a year
Cons
  • Quality

Easy to install, perfect

Perfect fit, easy to install. I had to consult YouTube on how to remove the protective cover to access the faulty part, but the instructions were easy to follow. I got the job done in less than 20 minutes.

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

Perfect fit for Veloster 2013

My fiancee went to marshalls and when she came back from the store she had the feeling that there was no button, someone was trying to open the trunk by pushing the button. I've seen this one have a good price and it performs and feels like an OEM. Easy and quick installation.

Pros
  • Absolute legend
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

Great fit! A little hard.

Very easy installation with YouTube video! Fits my bike well and still feels great after a few months! I will say my only complaint is that it's a bit stiffer than the original knob the car came with, but that might be ok for those who use their trunk more often!

Great replacement, feels better than the original

The sunroof knob is broken. It was exactly what I needed for the 2013 Veloster Turbo. We have a rear camera, but on our model the button is independent of the camera. The swap took about 10 minutes. It took a 10mm socket to loosen three screws to pull out the sunroof switch.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Very expensive

Better than the original

There are half a dozen or more videos on the internet showing how to replace the original Hyundai hatchback button, which is great because there are no instructions included with this product. However, this is a fairly simple process and should NOT be performed by an experienced mechanic. I have a 2012 Veloster and it was actually the wrong part as I have a rear camera and the wiring for the button and camera are glued together and I use a larger connector. I thought that might be the case but…

Pros
  • Handsfree
Cons
  • I am silent
