    It holds up well to all knocks and bumps and washes off wonderfully.

    I use this connected to my CB radio while riding 4 wheels and it can get noisy when other cars or quads drive by. Despite this, I can clearly hear the person speaking to me, he copes well with all bumps and knocks and wipes beautifully.

    Good product for the price.

    I chose this speaker over the more expensive ones because of the added noise reduction feature that can be used in addition to the noise filters in my ham radio. This is a mobile device used with a power source as the bottom speaker base radio and as it is installed it has surface sound instead of cleaner sound coming out of the speaker facing the listener. The sound quality was a surprise compared to some I've used in mobile applications before.

    It's great for listening to high frequencies and has a switchable high-pass audio filter to reduce static.

    I tried two other speakers in this price range before I found this one. If you spend time listening to the radio without noise cancellation, this speaker handles static well. The sound filter is switched with the button on the side of the speaker. The only negative is that the plastic overlay on the button comes off fairly easily. A drop of glue helps. The sound quality is excellent for the price, you lose some high notes with the filter on but the voice is still easy to understand. Pulling out

    I chose this speaker over the more expensive ones because of the extra noise canceling feature that can be used in addition to the noise filters in my ham radio, this is a portable unit used with a power pack as a base radio, has a bottom speaker , and since it's installed it had a flat sound instead of a cleaner sound coming out of the speaker facing the listener, the sound quality was unexpected compared to some I've used in mobile apps before.

    I own and operate a small trucking company in Oregon. I bought this speaker because it had a metal bracket and is made by Astatic. Astatic is one of the best mics for civilian radios; So I had to try their speaker. I'm not disappointed. The clarity of the voices makes a person sound like they are in the same room with you and not on the radio. A metal bracket. it withstands the heavy vibrations of a diesel truck off-road!
