Suitable for light projects

is suitable for light clamping, but try not to clamp anything too tight. One pair of mines had their jaws separated after being used to pull valve stem seals out of the engine. You are no longer a "needle nose". Must be soft metal. Still not bad for the price.

Pros
  • Enjoyable
Cons
  • Compatibility

The right tool for the job

I accidentally caught a hydraulic hose at zero rotation while replacing the starter motor and pulled the hose halfway out. For all my life I could not get my hands or any tools into that tight space to fully tighten it again. Just 20 seconds with the long curved pliers included in this kit and the hose was completely in place.

Pros
  • High test scores for support and durability
Cons
  • Not the best

The finish is pretty bad and the tips don't even line up

The finish is pretty bad and the tips don't even line up straight. The suggestion for the manufacturer would be to skip the case and invest the savings in improving real tools. I was about to return but instead received a partial refund and decided to keep it. I would not recommend them.

Pros
  • Comfortable to use
Cons
  • Some flaws

Great set for your money!

I needed very cheap needle nose pliers for disconnecting connectors on cars/radiator hoses/just for prying at work and they were perfect. Much cheaper than any set I could find in the port. They're not perfect, but for how many there are in the set and how good the grips are (a textured rubber grip that doesn't slip much) I can't complain about the low price. Worth the money, I'm a technician at a Lexus dealership.

Pros
  • Lasting test results
Cons
  • Speed of work

Just ok for the money.

These pliers are a regular price for the $23 I paid. The finish is very rough, with clearly visible sanding marks, the tips 2 do not match. The handles flex slightly when squeezed so hard that I'm afraid of squeezing too hard. They are suitable for casual use and will get the job done. But I expect them to break or deform under heavy pressure. If you want a set to last longer, pay the extra $$$ and buy a famous brand instead.

Pros
  • A sea of positive emotions
Cons
  • No gun

Fantastic set/case ideal for all tasks big and small

This set is great for the price and much better made than I expected. Use any of these pliers every day as a mechanic working on new rigid slide clamps. In my opinion these types of pliers are more helpful when installing and removing these clips. The only complaint I have is that I wish at least one of the five was bigger but don't complain too much as the set is amazing and it comes with a carrying case.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Not bad but...

Tips do not match.

They don't fulfill the only function they were designed for. Depending on the type of work you want to use them for, you can choose a better set instead. I would not recommend them for auto/motorcycle work or other engineering work for the following reasons. Close. All pliers have an uneven gap. 2- None of the tips match. Tips are everywhere, from pliers to pliers. You have to discard them for about 90% functioning.

Pros
  • Pliers
Cons
  • There are even more interesting possibilities.

Very well made, they are heavier than I thought. I got them for the delicate work of fitting lightbulbs in the track lighting. They worked great, I was so afraid they would break the bulbs, but they held the bulbs and I was able to put them in the sockets. I'm disabled so I don't have much strength in my arms. It would be nice if they were a little lighter than they are. I can still work with it but the weight is more than I thought it would be.

Pros
  • Tools and Housewares
Cons
  • Quick Start Guide

Required for work on old-style homes

Although these pliers are more suited to a mechanic, I use them for electrical work on laminate roofs as electrical sockets tend to press into the ceiling and PVC tubing tends not to clamp to electrical boxes . Yes, I know it's a mess, but this is Mexico to you. Either way, these are long-distance pliers and they do their job well. If you need to run new wiring in any of these homes, this is your tool. Get this set, it's useful, practical and at a great price. One of these at an expensiveโ€ฆ
