Professional quality

I own a chocolate shop and I LOVE these dipping tools. I bought several sets to use on different items without having to stop and clean in between. The quality is excellent - I did not have a single breakdown, I washed and dipped thousands of chocolates. The tools are definitely professionally designed, which might require some tweaking for those who have used a different method before. Buy another set today to train a new trainee!

Pros
  • Crossing my fingers
Cons
  • A few mistakes

When I was a girl, my mother made chocolate covered Easter eggs and this year I wanted to share the tradition with my daughter. Each of these giant eggs contains a good 1/2 pound of buttercream and when I received these dipping forks I expected them to fail but they more than got the job done to my great satisfaction. I've only used the three prongs so far, but I'm pretty sure the others will work well with other smaller items.

Pros
  • Finally got it
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model

Amazing Dipper! on Kitchen & Dining

I've been making chocolate for years and just last Christmas I figured there must be an easier way to dip my sweets in chocolate. When I found this at Revain I decided to give it a try. Let me just say this thing is amazing. I saved so much time and effort with this bucket. It covers all the chocolates I've made evenly and leaves a spiral pattern on the chocolate which is nice. I also found that I could dip a lot more chocolates into just one bag of chocolate since I could dip faster and coatโ€ฆ

Pros
  • This is Amazing
Cons
  • Sad Equipment

Quality dipping tools from a reputable manufacturer

If you've ever dealt with confectionery, you must know Ateco. They make tons of products for professional pastry chefs and hobbyists (like me). I use Aetco products like their waxed pouches, pastry tips and PVC connectors and they are excellent. Their diving tool is very valuable and easy to use (even my first time) and they are perfectly clean. It comes with a large and seemingly exhaustive array of tooltips. They will help you! As a beginner I only used a few of the different ones in the kitโ€ฆ

  • New

Need a basic instruction manual.

Yes, they look nice. Yes, it is good that they are made of stainless steel. There are two prongs, three prongs and a small round object. Since I only used a toothpick to dip the truffle, I was very disappointed in the lack of basic instructions on how to use or handle the various tools. Your guide "Diving tool kit. For securely holding fruit, candy or nuts when dipping in melted chocolate or other coating. Hold the four and cover them with fondant icing. Made of stainless steel." Yes, of course

  • Price

Very impressed

This tool was essential (yes, so good) for dipping heart cherries! I've only ever used a cherry stick and spoon to dip my savory cherries. Last year I decided to splurge and try a scuba tool. I didn't have high expectations. I chose this one because it looked solid - it has no plastic parts. Actually, that was the deciding factor for me, since there weren't any reviews yet. And I'm very satisfied! Dipping cherries was a breeze! I was so excited I added a few other Ateco dive tools to myโ€ฆ
