I tried this for a couple of weeks and it wasn't effective enough for me. I only had to connect 2 devices (iMAC and Macbook Pro) to use the keyboard and mouse. Again the product worked as advertised but the transition from one PC to another was too slow as all 4 possible options had to be used. This little device is great. I can multitask with two computers! I like being able to switch to another computer with one click and turn on the mouse and keyboard. There are two extra USB ports, but I didn't need them.
