Just a tip. After applying a thin coat of Permatex Gasket Maker to keep the gasket in place during service. Start at the corner. Finger-tighten each other screw, then do the same with the others in the same pattern. Then tighten all other screws according to the manufacturer's instructions with the Tourqe wrench. And repeat the pattern again.

The name speaks for itself. This also makes it easier to remove and install the transmission pan. I'm not a big fan of using RTV sealant because installing and cleaning this stuff is PITA. The bottom two bolts appear to be lightly coated in transmission oil and only time will tell if they end up leaking or not. Good alternative to Felpro products.

I applied too much torque 40lbs, ruined the tread on the aluminum block, 25lbs wouldn't do for me when I removed the gasket, it was crushed, wet and in Broke in one area so I decided to use the RTV as it came from the factory to avoid applying too much torque and ruining the goodies on the block. Only £12 or 14 for RTVP, maybe it's my fault for not reading the correct specs. Some videos show 120 pounds of torque, check which motor is aluminum or metal.
