My Dakota 92 truck had a broken plastic end of this cable that controls upshifts and downshifts so I needed a replacement. The exact part hasn't even been to the junkyard yet, but this cable is almost identical, fits and works perfectly. It appears to be NOS (new "old" stock) in Chrysler packaging as advertised. I am very happy that I have it and my truck is working properly again.

Working. Attached directly to my 1994 Jeep ZJ kickdown cable. You need to fix it (not included). I used the lock nuts and bolts I had. Photo frame wire from a craft store can be an inexpensive extension if you need it. Been using this setup for a couple of weeks with no problems. I broke the serial part and accidentally cut the serial cable. Some photo frame with their ingenuity fixed it.

I removed the throttle body from my Kia to replace the spark plugs and the now fragile cruise control wire connector broke. After a long search I was afraid that I would have to buy a cable assembly. I found this item and bought two. These are the same connectors used on most Cruise throttle body wires. Do yourself a favor, order one before you unplug an old car. Plastic becomes brittle over time and breaks easily. Very easy to attach to the cable.

RUN and don't waste time. Yes, it fits, but the plastic is so soft it won't even withstand the single pull needed to calibrate. I bought two devices, one fits a little better but broke right away. My strap clip with webbing has worked for over a year. This is a great item for repairing many throttle, cruise control and kickdown wiring on various Ford and GM vehicles.
