Excellent replacement for the original

Well packaged and excellent replacement indistinguishable from the original. The hose seal is stuck in the bottom inlet. I reused the pan gasket and it is perfectly dry.

The picture is deceptive. I thought I got.

The picture is deceptive. I thought I had the filter and gasket. I think they mean business by showing it in the picture and calling it "Filterset". It's really just a filter.

Fit 2015 Silverado 5.3 liter

I used this in my 2015 Silverado. This is the correct filter and gasket. Chances are your old gasket is still fine, but it's good to have a new one just in case. I didn't try to remove the metal retaining ring, I just reused the old one and had no problems.

So far, so good. on filter

Looked the same as the Delco AC I pulled out. Comes with a throat seal (a thing that looks like an o-ring) and a pan seal. The pan gasket isn't the reusable kind that comes with the truck, so I didn't use the pan gasket that came with the kit and reused the old one instead. The kit was for a 2011 GMC Sierra with a 5.3 crew cab and a six speed automatic transmission.

Went back and read the fine print only to realize it was all just a picture.

As you can see in the picture this is advertised as a 'kit' with filter and pan gasket. I only ordered and received the filter. Went back and read the fine print only to find that even though the picture shows you are getting a gasket, you are actually only getting a filter. VERY MISTAKES and I'm surprised Revane allows that. There are "KITs" available for the same price that include both filter and gasket. DO NOT ORDER THIS ITEM.

2012 Silverado 6L80E transfilter procedure.

My 2012 Silverado with 5.3 liter engine and (6 speed) transmission has just clocked up 24,000 miles. I decided it was time to change the fluid and filter. In my experience, the first time was always the worst due to break-in contamination.
